What is Amace-BP? Amace-BP is a combination of an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (Benazepril) a calcium channel blocker (Amlodipine) used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is usually precribed when either drug has not had sufficient antihypertensive effect by itself.
How is Amace-BP used? Amace-BP is a combination of two different medicines. It is usually only used after monotherapy with either of the active ingredients has not worked well enough.
The most commonly prescribed dosage is 10mg of benazepril and 5 mg of amlodipine (one tablet) taken daily.
