What is Apo-Diclo SR?
Apo-Diclo SR (Diclofenac Sodium) is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to relieve pain, swelling and joint stiffness. It works by stopping the body's production of certain substances that cause pain, fever and inflammation. It is mainly used to treat arthritis but some patient's may also use the medication to treat muscle aches, dental pain and pain caused by surgery.
How is Apo-Diclo SR used?
Apo-Diclo SR is usually taken orally as prescribed by a doctor. It should be taken with plenty of water but to avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food or milk. The tablets should be taken whole and not crushed, chewed or broken up to prevent too much of the drug from being released at the same time. Adverse effects
Apo-Diclo SR may cause side effects in patients such as:

- Black, bloody or tarry stool
- Dark urine
- Unexplained weight gain
- Fatigue
- Vertigo
- Vomiting blood
- Difficulty breathing
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Apo-Diclo SR is not always suitable for all patients.
