What is Apo-Gliclazide?
Apo-Gliclazide containing the active ingredient gliclazide is classified as a sulphonylurea type of medication. It works by stimulating the beta cells in the pancreas causing more insulin to be produced and regulating the amount of sugar in the blood. The medication should be used with patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when dietary measures, weight loss and physical exercise have failed to fully control blood sugar.
How is Apo-Gliclazide used?
Apo-Gliclazide is usually taken 1 to 2 times per day or as directed by a doctor. To prevent an upset stomach, the tablets should be taken orally with food along with a full glass of water. Adverse effects
Patients using Apo-Gliclazide may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

Warnings
