What is Axepta 60?
Axepta 60 containing the active ingredient atomoxetine is considered a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (NRI) type of medication. The medication works by affecting the neurotransmitters in the brain to increase focus and ability to concentrate while also reducing fidgeting. The tablets are mainly prescribed to treat ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and other neurological conditions.
How is Axepta 60 used?
Axepta 60 is usually taken orally twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening unless otherwise directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, chewed or crushed prior to consumption to prevent too much of the drug from being absorbed at once.
