What is Bexol 2?
Bexol 2 containing the active ingredient trihexyphenidyl belongs to a type of medication called anticholinergics. The medication works by blocking certain natural substances called acetylcholine. It can be used to treat involuntary movements or symptoms of Parkinson’s disease caused by certain psychiatric drugs. It will help decrease muscle stiffness, sweating, muscle spasms and slow movement.

How is Bexol 2 used?
Bexol 2 is usually taken orally 3 to 4 times per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with a meal along with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor, even if symptoms have improved, as abruptly stopping the treatment can cause problems.

Adverse effects
Patients using Bexol 2 may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Dry mouth
• Upset stomach
• Blurred vision
• Difficulty urination
• Trouble breathing or swallowing

Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persists or worsen.

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

Bexol 2 is not always suitable for all patients.
