What is CONJYA-0.625?
Conjya containing the active ingredient conjugated estrogens is a female hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The medication is used by women lacking estrogen production necessary for many processes in the body. It can be used to relieve symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, itching, irritation and painful sexual intercourse. Some women may also use the medication to prevent osteoporosis (bone loss) and certain types of cancer that require estrogen to grow.
How is CONJYA-0.625 used?
Conjya is usually taken orally once per day in a cycle of 3 weeks on followed by 1 week off unless otherwise directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with some water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and timeframe of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy.
Adverse effects
Patients using Conjya may cause unwanted side effects such as:
- Upset stomach
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Bloating
- Breast tenderness
- Headaches
- Vaginal itching or discharge
Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding
- Decreased sex drive
- Numbness or weakness on one side of the body
- Jaundice
- Bulging eyes
- Beast lump
- Weight changes
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
CONJYA-0.625 is not always suitable for all patients.
