What is Catlax Laxative Paste?
Catlax is a palatable paste used as a laxative in cats. It is used to eliminate and prevent hairballs by coating the hairballs and helping them move through the cat’s digestive tract more easily. Improving the cat’s digestive function can prevent symptoms such as constipation, vomiting and dry coughs.
How is Catlax Laxative Paste used?
Catlax is usually placed directly in the mouth or placed on the paw for the cat to lick off. The paste should be used once daily for hairball removal and 2 to 3 times per week for hairball prevention. The average weight adult cat should to ingest 2 to 3cm per dose. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage as it will depend on the cat’s condition and their response to the treatment.

There are no known side effects for Catlax.
Warnings
Immediately proceed to the veterinarian if your pet suffers an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
