What is Cetislim?
Cetislim (Cetilistat) is considered a lipase inhibitor type of medication. The medication works by blocking the metabolization of fat within food so you do not digest it and the undigested fat will be passed through the body in bowel movement. The capsules should be used along with a low calorie, low fat diet and a proper exercise program to treat obesity. Reducing calorie intake and weight maintenance can help prevent and treat conditions such as high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
How is Cetislim used?
Cetislim is usually taken orally as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with, during or even up to 1 hour after each main meal. If you skip a meal, do not take the medication. Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy.
