What is Cholodin Feline?
Cholodin Feline containing choline, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and taurine is a dietary supplement created especially for cats. The choline loading regimen is used by cat owners to help develop healthy cell membranes, protect the liver from fatty buildup and to maintain the nervous system. The tablets may also be used with older pets to improve hearing, memory, muscle tone, joint pain, hair coat and other signs of aging.
How is Cholodin Feline used?
Cholodin Feline is usually given to the pet once per day or as otherwise directed by a veterinarian. The enhanced flavor base tablets engineered just for felines may be hand fed directly to the cat or crumbled and mixed into their food for self consumption. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the pet’s condition and their response to the treatment. The recommended dosage is generally 1 tablet for each 10lbs. of body weight of the cat.
Adverse effects
Pets given Cholodin Feline may encounter unwanted side effects such as:
- Hyperactivity
- Social agitation
- Muscle twitching
Contact a veterinarian immediately should side effects persist or worsen.
Warnings
Immediately proceed to the veterinarian if your pet suffers an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Cholodin Feline is not always suitable for all animals.
