What is Clamycin-250?
Clamycin containing the active ingredient clarithromycin is considered a macrolide antibiotics type of medication. The medication works by killing bacteria and treating bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, otitis media and infections to the nasal passages, sinuses or throat. Some people may also use the drug along with other medicines to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori.
How is Clamycin-250 used?
Clamycin is usually taken orally every 12 hours or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a drink of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, split or crushed before consuming to prevent too much of the drug from being released at one time.

Clamycin-250 is not always suitable for all patients.
