What is Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream?
Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream is used along with standard wound therapy to treat diabetic foot ulcers. Patients diagnosed with diabetes have a higher risk of developing ulcerations in the foot due to pressure, ischemia, venous hypertension or neuropathy which may lead to infections and serious complications. Once the cream is applied to the affected area, the special formula will form a film over the surface to prevent the evaporation of water. Keeping the moisture of the affected area will promote the healing process. The film will also prevent microorganisms, allergens and irritants from agitating the skin.
How is Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream used?
Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream should be applied as directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the treatment. The medication can be used on large areas on a daily basis and even over a prolonged time period as it is steroid free.
Adverse effects
Coresatin is generally well tolerated with minimal side effects.
