What is Cytotam?
Cytotam can help interfere with the effects of estrogen in the breast tissue. The active ingredient tamoxifen citrate belongs to a group of medications called anti-oestrogen hormone antagonists. It can be used alone or in combination with radiation, chemotherapy or surgery to treat metastatic breast cancer. Women with a family history of breast cancer carry a higher risk of breast cancer. Women with a high risk of breast cancer may use the medication to lower the chance of developing breast cancer.
