What is DICARIS 150?
Dicaris containing the active ingredient levamisole is considered an antineoplastic and immunomodulator type of medication. The medication works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells and slows their growth and spread in the body. The tablets are used in combination with chemotherapy in the treatment of colon cancer, melanoma and head or neck cancer. Some people may also use the drug to treat parasitic worm infections.
How is DICARIS 150 used?
Dicaris should be taken orally exactly as directed by a doctor. To prevent an upset stomach, the tablets should be taken with a full glass of water along with some food. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The doctor may request to have blood tests periodically to monitor progress and side effects of the medication. The 150mg tablets should be taken by adults.
Adverse effects
