What is Daylong Extreme SPF 50+ Lotion?
Daylong Extreme SPF 50+ Lotion is considered a long lasting liposomal sunscreen type of medication. The lotion contains photostable sun filters to help provide effective sun protection from UVA and UVB rays. The preservative free and fragrance free medication should be used by patients with very sensitive, oily or sun allergic skin as well as in extreme situations such as the tropics or mountains. The lotion also has aloe vera and vitamin E extracts to nurture and moisturize the skin.
How is Daylong Extreme SPF 50+ Lotion used?
Daylong Extreme SPF 50+ Lotion should be applied topically approximately 20 minutes prior to sun exposure or as directed by a doctor. The lotion should be applied to the skin where it will not be protected with clothing. Although the sunscreen is water resistant it should still be reapplied multiple times after being in the water, drying off and sweating. For people who want to wear cosmetics, allow ample time for the medication to penetrate the skin before applying other products.
Adverse effects
Daylong Extreme SPF 50+ Lotion is generally very well tolerated with minimal side effects.
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
