What is Diane 35 ED?
Diane 35 ED containing the active ingredients cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol, contains an oestrogen and an anti-androgen type of medication. The medication can be used by women to treat signs of androgenisation and conditions such as severe acne or excessive facial or body hair growth. Women using the tablets to treat androgenisation may also use it as an oral contraceptive and experience benefits such as more regular and lighter periods, a decrease in anaemia, a decrease in period pain and a reduction of greasiness in skin and hair.
How is Diane 35 ED used?
Diane 35 ED should be taken orally once per day regardless of how often you have sex. It can be used as an oral contraceptive but does not work 100% of the time. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a drink of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Always follow the arrows on the blister pack until all the tablets have been taken.

Warnings
