What is Diflucan One?
Diflucan One containing the active ingredient fluconazole is considered a triazoles antifungals type of medication. It works by interfering with the cell membranes to kill the fungi causing the infection. The medication can be used to treat an inflammation of the vagina called vaginal thrush.

How is Diflucan One used?
Diflucan One is a single dose treatment unless otherwise directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Swallow the capsules whole and not broken, split or chewed to prevent too much of the medication from being released at one time. Always complete the prescribed dosage as discontinuing the treatment prematurely may cause the infection to return and become harder to treat.

Adverse effects
Patients using Diflucan One may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Stomach pain
• Headaches
• Dizziness
• Excessive gas

Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or worsen.

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

Diflucan One is not always suitable for all patients.
