What is Drontal Plus Flavour Bone Shaped?
Drontal Plus Flavour Bone Shaped is a combination de-worming agent for pets containing the active ingredients praziqueantel, pyrantel embonate and febantel. The medication has been specifically developed to eliminate roundworms, tapeworms and every type of intestinal worm commonly found in dogs. The tablets are flavoured and in little bone shapes that all puppies and dogs will love taking.
How is Drontal Plus Flavour Bone Shaped used?
Drontal Plus Flavour Bone Shaped is usually given to the pet once every 3 months or as otherwise directed by a veterinarian. For every round of treatment, 1 tablet should be given per 10kg of bodyweight for dogs weighing less than 30kg. The tablets can be taken without food but can also be hidden in pet food to be fed to the pet. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage and treatment cycle as it will depend on the pet’s age, condition and response to the therapy.
Adverse effects
