What is EPISOOTHE?
Episoothe is a natural oatmeal derivative, soap free, hypoallergenic shampoo designed especially for dogs, cats and horses. It is used for the soothing effects of oatmeal for sensitive, dry, itchy and easily irritated skin. The medication operates by absorbing and rinsing away any irritants while forming a thin barrier over the skin to prevent further irritation or itchiness. It is specially incorporated to provide sustained release after the shampoo is rinsed off. It is used as a long term treatment and may take several applications before the desired results are felt.
How is EPISOOTHE used?
Episoothe should only be used externally 2 to 3 times per week or as directed by a veterinarian. To apply the shampoo, wet the coat with warm water and apply sufficient amounts of the shampoo. Massage into the coat with circular movements to create a rich lather and leave for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and repeat if necessary.
Adverse effects
Episoothe is usually very well tolerated with no known side effects.
