What is Enidazol 1000?
Enidazol 1000 containing the active ingredient tinidazole is considered an anti-protozoal or anti-microbial type of antibiotics. The medication works by stopping the growth of bacteria and protozoa that can cause infections. It can be used to treat certain types of infections such as trichomoniasis, giardiasis and amebiasis.
How is Enidazol 1000 used?
Enidazol 1000 is usually taken orally as a single dose or once per day for 3 to 5 days. To prevent an upset stomach, it is advised to take the medication with some food along with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the therapy. Always complete the prescribed dosage, even if symptoms have disappeared, as abruptly discontinuing the treatment may cause the infection to return and allow the bacteria to become immune to antibiotics.
