What is Ethics Lisinopril?
Ethics Lisinopril containing the active ingredient lisinopril is considered an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor type of medication. It is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) as well as heart failure and to improve survival after a heart attack. Lisinopril works by decreasing certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels so blood flows more smoothly and allow the heart to pump blood more efficiently.
How is Ethics Lisinopril used?
Ethics Lisinopril is usually taken orally once per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy. The doctor may start you on a low dose and gradually increase dosage to the optimal dosage. Do not discontinue the treatment without consulting a doctor as there are usually no visible symptoms of high blood pressure.
