It is used to prevent and treat coughing, wheezing, chest tightness and difficulty breathing caused by asthma. Some people may also use the medication to treat ongoing lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
How is Flixotide Accuhaler used?
The Flixotide Accuhaler is usually used orally 2 times daily or as prescribed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient’s reaction to the medication. When administering the spray, make sure the inhaler is held at a level and flat position. To ensure the right amount of the drug goes into your lungs, it is important to inhale each dose deeply.
