What is Frontline Spray?
Frontline Spray containing the active ingredient fipronil is considered a broad spectrum insecticide type of medication. The medication is a long lasting, very effective control of fleas and ticks residing on your pet. It works by disrupting the insect’s central nervous system, causing paralysis and death and will kill up to 100% of the existing adult fleas in less than 24 hours. The waterproof solution will remain effective even if your pet swims or is bathed and will continue killing ticks and fleas for up to one month.
How is Frontline Spray used?
Frontline Spray should only be applied topically once every 30 days or as directed by a veterinarian. To apply the medication, simply ruffle the pets coat to expose the skin and spray evenly over the entire body and make sure the coat is thoroughly wet. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage as it will depend on the pet’s weight, condition and their response to the therapy.
