What is Gynokadin Dosiergel?
Gynokadin Dosiergel containing the active ingredient estradiol is a naturally occurring form of the main female sex hormone, estrogen. The medication is used as a hormone replacement therapy in women who have gone through menopause and do not produce enough estrogen. It can be used to treat symptoms of estrogen deficiency such as hot flushes, depressed mood, vaginal dryness or bleeding, burning, irritation and to prevent osteoporosis.
How is Gynokadin Dosiergel used?
Gynokadin Dosiergel should be applied topically in a cycle of 3 weeks followed by a treatment free week. The gel should be applied to a large area of skin such as the arm, shoulders or thighs and not the genital area or breasts. Apply a small amount of the gel to the skin and gently massage it in until it disappears. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and timeframe as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy. It is recommended to wait at least 1 hour before allowing others to touch the application site or coming into contact with water to allow the drug to be fully absorbed through the skin.
Adverse effects

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
