Atacand belongs to a group of antihypertensive medications called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB) which represent the first new class of antihypertensive agents in the United States in more than a decade.

Atorlip (Atorvastatin Calcium) is considered a HMG CoA reductase inhibitor, also known as a statins type of medication. It works by lowering “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while also raising “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.

Atorlip-5 should be used along with a proper diet and exercise regimen to raise “good” cholesterol (HDL) while lowering “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood. The active ingredient atorvastatin calcium can also help decrease the amount of cholesterol that may have built up on the walls of the arteries. It is considered a HMG CoA reductase inhibitor or statins type of medication. Lowering cholesterol levels in the body can help decrease the risk of heart complications, heart attacks and strokes.

Betaloc CR can be used alone or along with other medications to treat angina (chest pain), hypertension (high blood pressure) and to treat and prevent heart attacks. It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate to improve blood flow, decrease blood pressure and strain on the heart. Treating high blood pressure can help reduce the risk of strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems.
