What is K-BroVet? Potassium Bromide (brand name K-BroVet) is an anticonvulsant agent. It is indicated in the treatment epileptic seizures in dogs. K-BroVet also contains vitamin B12 which promotes healthy neurological function.
How is K-BroVet used? K-BroVet is supplied as a pack 60 x 250mg liver-flavoured chewable tablets.
Your doctor will prescribe a dosage for your dog based on the weight of your dog and the desired serum levels.
The tablet can be combined with food to minimize gastric side effects.
Warnings K-BroVet may not be safe for use in pregnant or lactating dogs.
