What is Loraclear?
Loraclear is a temporary relief for hay fever and other allergies. It is an antihistamine that blocks allergic reactions from allergens (pollen, animal fur, dust mites and insect bites) from causing inflammation in the body. It can be used to treat allergic reactions such as itchy, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes and even skin conditions such as itchy skin and hives. It can relieve itching and hives, however, it cannot be used to prevent them. It also cannot be used to treat serious allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).
How is Loraclear used?
Loraclear is usually taken orally once per day or as directed by a doctor. It is a medication that can be taken with or without food. Dosage usually depends on the usage and the patient’s reaction to the medication, it is not recommended to take more or less than the prescribed amount, contact a doctor for the correct dosage. The tablets should be taken whole and not chewed, cut or crushed prior to consumption.
Adverse effects
Patients using Loraclear usually have no side effects, however, some may encounter minor side effects such as:
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Drowsiness
- Diarrhea
- Nosebleed
- Dry mouth
Consult a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:
- Jaundice
- Irregular heart rate
- Seizures
- Difficulty breathing
- Difficulty swallowing
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Loraclear is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.
The correct dosage and prescription commonly depend on the patient and the condition being treated. Do not adjust your dosage without the approval of your health care provider. This product is only for use as prescribed and instructed. |
