What is Lumacip Plus?
Lumacip Plus cream containing the active ingredients hydroquinone, fluocinolone and tretinoin is considered a depigmenting agent type of medication. The cream can be used for the gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin, a darkening of the skin caused by the over production of melanin, the protein that produces skin color. The medication can be used to treat skin conditions such as melasma, freckles and age spots due to acne scars, genetics or simply happen due to excess sun exposure.
How is Lumacip Plus used?
Lumacip Plus cream is usually applied topically to the affected areas twice daily or as directed by a doctor. During the use of the cream, sun exposure should be limited and a sunscreen should be used to cover the treated area to prevent repigmentation. Contact a dermatologist for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy.
