What is Mal-A-Ket Shampoo?
Mal-A-Ket Shampoo is a unique, deodorizing, pleasant smelling, degreasing, antifungal and antibacterial shampoo. It is effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as some fungal and yeast infections. The medicated shampoo is formulated for use with cats, dogs and horses.
How is Mal-A-Ket Shampoo used?
Mal-A-Ket Shampoo is usually applied 2 to 4 times per week for 1 month, then reducing to once per week or as directed by a veterinarian. The shampoo should be shaken well before applying to a wet hair coat. Rub a sufficient amount of the shampoo onto the skin and hair coat to create a rich lather. Allow to remain on coat for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water.
Adverse effects
Mal-A-Ket Shampoo is usually very well tolerated but may cause minor side effects such as:
- Redness, irritation, inflammation of the skin
Contact a veterinarian immediately should side effects persist or worsen.
Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and wash hands thoroughly after using the shampoo.
Immediately proceed to the veterinarian if your pet suffers an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Mal-A-Ket Shampoo is not always suitable for all animals.
