What is Mirnite Meltab-15?
Mirnite Meltab-15 works by enhancing and prolonging the mood lightening effects of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain. The active ingredient mirtazapine increases the activity of the neurotransmitters to restore mental balance and belongs to a class of medications called antidepressants. The medication is used to treat major depressive disorder.
How is Mirnite Meltab-15 used?
Mirnite Meltab-15 should be taken as directed by a doctor, usually once daily at bedtime. Place the tablets on the tongue with dry hands and allow it to dissolve. Do not chew the tablets and swallow several times as it disintegrates. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy.
