What is Mirnite Meltab-30?
Mirnite Meltab-30 is a medication used to treat major depressive disorder. The active ingredient mirtazapine increases the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain to help restore mental balance. The antidepressant works by prolonging and enhancing the mood lightening effects of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain.
How is Mirnite Meltab-30 used?
Mirnite Meltab-30 is usually taken orally at bedtime every day or as directed by a doctor. Always try to place the disintegrating tablets on the tongue with dry hands. Do not chew the tablets and swallow several times as it dissolves in the mouth. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Do not discontinue the treatment thinking it is not working as it may take up to 4 weeks before symptoms improve.
