What is Mucopain Gel?
Mucopain Gel is a topical local anesthetic which is used to treat irritation, pain, and itching of the skin caused by various conditions. It operates by preventing pain signals from being transmitted to the brain from the nerves at the site of application.
How is Mucopain Gel used?
Mucopain Gel is a topically applied gel that can be applied up to 4 times per day. Always wash your hands before and after each application of the medication to prevent contact with areas not being treated. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area and gently massaged until it disappears. When finished, allow the excess to air dry and immediately recap the tube.
Adverse effects
Although Mucopain Gel is normally well tolerated, it may cause some adverse effects such as:
- Severe burning sensation
- Mild skin rashes
- Blood disorders

Warnings
