What is Nervz-G?
Nervz-G contains the active ingredients methylcobalamin a derivative of vitamin B12 and gabapentin a neurotin type of medication. Studies have shown this combination of medication can help negate both nociceptive and neuropthic pains quicker and with more efficiency. It was initially used to treat rheumatic diseases primarily but now can also be used in surgery, traumatology, sports medicine (in the case of musculoskeletal system’s or soft tissue damage) and neurology (for the treatment of back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and migraines).
How is Nervz-G used?
Nervz-G is usually taken orally once per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, crushed or chewed prior to consumption to prevent too much of the drug from being released at once.
Adverse effects
Patients using Nervz-G may encounter unwanted side effects such as:
- Drowsiness
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Vomiting
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Increased weight
Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:
- New signs of infection
- Muscle or joint pain
- Tremors
- Mental or mood changes
- Vision problems
- Impotence
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Nervz-G is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.
