What is Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant?
Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant containing the active ingredient chlorhexidine diacetate is a bactericide and virucide scented disinfectant for use in animal premises. The solution is used in many veterinary clinics to clean, disinfect and deodorize instruments and animal premises. The watered down solution can be applied by mopping, wiping or spraying.

How is Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant used?
Prior to applying Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant all handlers should put on rubber gloves, long pants, a long sleeved shirt, socks and shoes. All animals and feed should be removed until the premises have been washed, the buildings, vehicles and closed spaces have been thoroughly ventilated and the solution fully absorbed, set or dried. Contact a veterinarian for the correct concentration for use.

Adverse effects
Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant usually has no side effects if used properly. Contact a veterinarian immediately should you notice any irregularities in the pet’s behavior.

Warnings
The solution should only be applied to the animal premises or veterinary instruments and never directly to the animal.

Immediately proceed to the veterinarian if your pet suffers an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

Nolvasan-S Scented Disinfectant is not always suitable for all animals.
