What is Omezol Relief?
Omezol Relief containing the active ingredient omeprazole belongs to a class of medications called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It works by decreasing the amount of stomach acid being produced in the body. It can be used to help relieve symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, persistent coughing and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid. The capsules can also be used to treat ulcers and promote the healing of the stomach and intestines.
How is Omezol Relief used?
Omezol Relief is usually taken orally 1 to 2 times daily or as prescribed by a doctor. The medication is usually taken 1 hour before the same meal each day along with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the treatment. The capsules should be swallowed whole and not broken, split, crushed or chewed before consuming.
Adverse effects
Patients using Omezol Relief may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

- Headaches

- Irregular heartbeat
- Seizures

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Omezol Relief is not always suitable for all patients.
