What is Oxcarb-300?
Oxcarb containing the active ingredient oxcarbazepine belongs to a class of medications called antiepileptics or anticonvulsants. It works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain to restore mental balance. The medication can be used alone or in combination with other drugs to treat certain seizure disorders such as epilepsy. It can be used to prevent epilepsy but cannot be used to cure the condition.
How is Oxcarb-300 used?
Oxcarb is usually taken orally twice daily or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a full glass of water. Warnings
