What is Pabyrn?
Pabyrn containing the active ingredient ethinyloestradiol is a man made form of the female hormone oestrogen. It is a supplement used as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in women who are going through or just passed menopause and to prevent post menopausal osteoporosis. Some women may also use the tablets along with other medications as an oral contraceptive or to regulate and make their periods lighter and less painful. In some cases it may also be used by men to treat prostate cancer.
How is Pabyrn used?
Pabyrn is usually taken orally once per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage, start date and treatment cycle as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the treatment. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed, crushed or broken before consumption.
Adverse effects
Patients using Pabyrn may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Pabyrn is not always suitable for all patients.
