What is Panoramis?
Panoramis containing the active ingredients spinosad and milbemycin oxime is a combination medication that offers protection against 3 types of parasites. It can be used to treat and control whipworms, hookworms and roundworms infections. Another use for the medication is to prevent and kill a flea infestation from bothering the dog and to control flea allergy dermatitis. Some pet owners may also use the chewable tablets to prevent heartworm disease from threatening the health of their dogs.
How is Panoramis used?
Panoramis is an orally administered medication given to dogs once per month unless otherwise directed by a veterinarian. The tablets are most effective when given prior to feeding or hidden within their pet food for self consumption. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage as it will depend on the pet’s weight condition and their response to the therapy. This package is recommended for dogs that weight between 27.1kg and 54kgs. The tasty chewable tablets is an ideal type of treatment as it will not rub or wash off and the pet will not need to be isolated immediately after treatment.
