What is Peridale Granules? Peridale Granules contain 98% Sterculia BP. Sterculia is a herbal treatment that acts as a bulk-promoting agent. The increase in intestinal content will help your dog pass stools of a healthy consistency. This may be required after surgery, where dogs have an infection of the anal sacs, or when the dog has constipation or diarrhea. Sterculia absorbs up to 60 times its weight in water to produce a gelatinous mass in the intestine. The increased content in the intestine then causes peristalsis which assists with the easy passage of soft stools.
How is Peridale Granules used? Peridale granules should be given according to the following guidleines based on the dog's weight:
Peridale granules can be sprinkled over the dogs food or placed dry onto the dogs tongue.
Each bottle of Peridale Granules contains 175g of granules (98% w/v Sterculia).
