What is Prexaron Plus?
Prexaron Plus containing the 2 active ingredients citicoline and piracetam is considered a nootropics supplement type of medication. It is designed to supply the essential antioxidants and nutrients necessary to assist the body in supporting healthy memory, mood and motor functions. The medication can be used to prevent or treat a variety of conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, strokes or heart disease and head trauma. Some people may also use it to treat behavioral problems and confusion in elderly patients as well as mental retardation or learning problems in children.
How is Prexaron Plus used?
Prexaron Plus should only be taken as directed by a doctor, usually 1 to 3 times per day. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, chewed or split prior to consuming.
