What is ProMotion for Med/Large Dogs?
ProMotion is an antioxidant supplement for joint maintenance given to medium and large dogs. The tablets can help provide cushioning which can help protect a pet’s joints while exercising. It can hydrate the joints by increasing the production of molecules that bind and hold water in the cartilage. The medication can also help maintain adequate levels nutrients required to build and repair connective tissue. Having strong and healthy joints can allow your pet to have a higher quality of life.

How is ProMotion for Med/Large Dogs used?
ProMotion is usually given to the pet once per day or as directed by a veterinarian. The medication can be given whole or crumbled and mixed with food to help with administration of the supplement. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the dog’s condition, their weight and response to the supplement. The usual dose for dogs weighting between 13 to 25lbs is half a tablet per day, dogs weighting 26 to 50lbs should be given 1 tablet per day and dogs weighting 51 to 80lbs should be given 2 tablets per day. Any dog weighting over 80lbs should be given 3 tablets per day. The dosage should be doubled in the first 5 days of treatment.

Adverse effects
ProMotion is usually well tolerated with no reported side effects.

Warnings
The full effects of the medication may not be noticeable until after 3 to 4 weeks of treatment.

Immediately proceed to the veterinarian if your pet suffers an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

ProMotion for Med/Large Dogs is not always suitable for all animals.
