What is Quetapel?
Quetapel (Quetiapine Fumarate) is an atypical antipsychotic type of medication prescribed to treat bipolar disorders, schizophrenia and other similar mental health problems. It can help improve concentration, prevent severe mood swings and decrease hallucinations.
Quetiapine Fumarate works by correcting the imbalance of certain natural substances which act on the nervous system in the brain. When combined with other medicine it may also be used to treat major depressive disorders.
How is Quetapel used?
The correct dosage and prescription commonly depend on the patient and the condition being treated. Do not adjust your dosage without the approval of your health care provider. This product is only for use as prescribed and instructed. The tablets can be used for treating and controlling mental conditions but cannot be used to cure the condition. It is not advised to discontinue the medication without contacting a doctor as it may cause severe withdrawal symptoms.

Warnings
Do not consume grapefruits or grapefruit juice while you use the medication as it may cause an increased amount of the drug in the bloodstream.
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Quetapel is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.
