What is Ranitidine Relief?
Ranitidine Relief is known as a histamine 2 receptor antagonist type of medication. The medication works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. The extra strength tablets can be used to treat duodenal or gastric ulcerations. Some patients may also use the medication to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and a condition called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where stomach acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus and causes heartburn.
How is Ranitidine Relief used?
Ranitidine Relief is an orally administered medication taken once per day at bedtime unless otherwise directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The medication may take up to several weeks before the conditions are healed.
