What is Ranitidine Relief?
Ranitidine Relief belongs to a type of medications called H2 histamine blockers. The medication works by reducing the amount of acid the stomach produces to help heal and prevent ulcers and improve symptoms such as heartburn and stomach pain. It is mainly prescribed to prevent and treat duodenal ulcers and benign gastric ulcers associated with non steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
How is Ranitidine Relief used?
Ranitidine Relief is usually taken twice per day, once in the morning and once at bedtime or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not broken, chewed, split or crushed prior to consumption.
