What is Revolution for Dogs?
Revolution for Dogs is a topical antihelmintic used to prevent infestations of fleas, scabies, mites, and American dog ticks in dogs between 5 and 10kg. The medication operates by being absorbed into the bloodstream and eliminating any parasites that attempt to burrow into the skin or feed on the dog's blood. When this occurs, the parasite is paralyzed and eventually killed. It is non greasy, quick drying and water fast with no unpleasant odors, so you can play with your pet soon after application.
How is Revolution for Dogs used?
Revolution for Dogs should only be applied topically as directed by a veterinarian, usually once per month on the same day. To apply the medication, part your pet’s hair at the base of the neck between shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube against the bare skin and squeeze the tube 3 to 4 times to empty the entire contents into one spot. Do not apply to broken skin, massage the solution into the skin or apply when the hair coat is wet. The pet can be bathed 2 or more hours after applying.

Revolution for Dogs is generally very well tolerated but may cause minor side effects such as:
