What is Salazopyrin EN?
Salazopyrin EN with the active ingredient sulphasalazine is considered a disease modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD). It is used to reduce inflammation in inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease. The medication may also reduce inflammation and stiffness in the joints, therefore, some patients may use it alongside other medicines to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
How is Salazopyrin EN used?
Salazopyrin EN should be taken orally 2 to 3 times per day or as directed by your doctor.
