What is Sebazole Shampoo?
Sebazole Shampoo is a broad spectrum antifungal and antipruritic shampoo specially formulated for cats, dogs and horses with greasy, infected or smelly skin. It works by peeling and softening the skin to lose dry cells and improve the skin environment. The medicated shampoo is mainly prescribed for pets suffering from ringworms, seborrheic dermatitis and malassezia dermatitis.
How is Sebazole Shampoo used?
Sebazole Shampoo should be used twice per week for up to 4 weeks or until symptoms subside, then once per week, or as directed by a veterinarian. Wet the coat with warm water before applying the shampoo. Massage the lather over the entire body and allow between 5 to 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse well with water to complete the treatment. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage as it will depend on the pet’s condition and their response to the therapy.
Adverse effects
Pets using Sebazole Shampoo may encounter minor unwanted side effects such as:
