What is Sebizole Shampoo?
Sebizole Shampoo can help treat infections caused by fungi and yeasts by interfering and killing their cell membranes. The active ingredient ketoconazole belongs to a class of medication called azole antifungals. The shampoo can help relieve scaling, itching and flaking associated with dandruff.
How is Sebizole Shampoo used?
Sebizole Shampoo is usually used 2 times per week for up to 8 weeks or as directed by a doctor. It can be used once every 1 to 2 weeks once the dandruff condition has cleared up. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the patient’s condition, the length of the patient’s hair and their response to the treatment. Prior to applying the medication, the hair should be wet with warm water. Apply the shampoo and massage the lather over the scalp gently with the fingertips and leave in place for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing with water.
