What is Trazalon 50?
Trazalon containing the active ingredient trazodone hydrochloride is considered a serotonin modulator type of medication. The medication works by increasing the amount of the natural substance serotonin in the brain to help maintain mental balance. It can be used to treat major depressive disorders and to help people with anxiety relax.
How is Trazalon 50 used?
Trazalon is usually taken orally 1 to 2 times per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication should be taken with or just after a meal along with a full glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the medication. Do not discontinue the drug without consulting a doctor as abruptly stopping the treatment may cause severe side effects.

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Trazalon 50 is not always suitable for all patients.
