What is Trichozole 200?
Trichozole containing the active ingredient metronidazole is considered a nitroimidazole type of medication. The medication works by eliminating the bacteria and protozoa that are causing an infection. It can be used to treat infections to the skin, joints, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract and vagina. The tablets can be used to treat bacterial infections but cannot be used to treat viral infections such as the flu or common cold.
How is Trichozole 200 used?
Trichozole is usually taken orally 2 to 3 times per day or as directed by a doctor. To prevent an upset stomach, the tablets should be taken with some food or a glass of milk. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the therapy. Do not discontinue the treatment until the prescribed dose is complete, even if symptoms appear to have healed, as abruptly stopping the medication can allow the infection to return and cause the bacteria to become harder to treat.

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Trichozole 200 is not always suitable for all patients.
