What is Trichozole 400?
Trichozole can be used to treat respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, joints, skin and vaginal infections. The active ingredient metronidazole belongs to a class of medications called nitroimidazoles. The tablets work by killing the protozoa and bacteria that are causing the infections. The medication can be used to treat bacterial infections but cannot be used to treat viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
How is Trichozole 400 used?
Trichozole should only be used as directed by a doctor, usually 2 to 3 times daily. The tablets should be taken with some food or a glass of milk to prevent an upset stomach. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Continue the medication until the prescribed dosage is complete, even if symptoms have healed, as abruptly stopping the medication can cause the infection to return and the bacteria to become immune to the antibiotic.

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Trichozole 400 is not always suitable for all patients.
